• As EGM (Div. CEO) of PGH Bricks & Pavers, one of Australia’s largest clay brick manufacturers, I reported directly to CSR’s MD and was accountable for the strategic direction, full P&L and growth of this.
• Merged two competing businesses into a new JV structure with minimal disruption to customers, realising multimillion-dollar savings to create a more sustainable business and ensure an ongoing presence in eastern.
• Led the development and launch of a multiyear strategy further improving the profitability of the business, leading a 10 strong multi-disciplined senior management team through execution via a measurable delivery.
• Developed an innovation portfolio from deep understanding of customer needs and frustrations, including expanding into new segments by launching cladding systems that addressed construction challenges.
