Lead and strategically manage a portfolio of four universities, while spearheading the development of over one hundred nationally accredited continuing education graduate courses, four master’s degree programs and the training of Ph.D faculty, teachers and staff. Build, manage and cultivate dynamic relationships with C Level executives, university presidents, deans and stakeholders through problem-solving, strong listening, communication, project management and presentation skills. Increase revenue and enrollment numbers for all graduate level teacher education programs across multiple content areas and disciplines for each university partner based on business entity needs and key performance indicators. Develop talent including the recruiting, onboarding, immersing, cultivating and training of all licensed graduate instructors including adjunct faculty, school administrators and subject matter experts. Research, develop and deliver Learning Management Software (LMS) technologies using asynchronous and synchronous modalities for the different educational departments of each university. Consult, advise and lead university partners on strategic initiatives and assist them in the training, development and fulfilment of new continuing education graduate courses and degrees, building a solid foundation for future department expansions. Research and compose accredited graduate course curriculum/content for diverse group of elementary and secondary educators according to university and federal guidelines. Facilitate and upskill adult learners on newly developed graduate courses using in-person, digital and e-learning strategies to enhance their classroom teaching skills while promoting a positive educational and diverse culture. Evaluate and assess outcomes for continual growth and compliance under university guidelines, including state and federal education mandates. Effectively utilize Instructional Design and Understanding by Design attributes

 Design, implement and evaluate staff training and professional development. Responding to disciplinary issues for students and student athletes. Hire and build relationships with outside content experts/consultants to develop curriculum, training, and learning principles to improve instruction. Compile, assess and utilize data to evaluate teachers and learning materials to determine areas where improvement is needed. Assessing data such as state standards and test scores for student and teacher improvement. Hiring and training staff including all coaches and assistant coaches. Maintaining systems for attendance, performance, planning, and other reports.

In Addition to handling the day to day functions of The STEM Magnet Academy of Chicago Heights, my position entails other duties such as:Develop and align a STEM vision promoting college and career readiness with school leaders, teachers, students, families and key external partners.Direct the design and implementation of a coherent, cross-curricular STEM program that is rigorous, culturally responsive, and reflects current research/theory in instruction, in alignment with District 170 principles of student learning.Promote a STEM curricula and teaching practices that engage the learner in tasks that require analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and creativity; that address each student’s needs, interests and skill levels; that encourage the student to define individual goals and accept responsibility for learning; and that provide a variety of methods for the student to demonstrate performance and achievement.Observe classroom instruction to evaluate the implementation of STEM curricula and instruction including content, materials, pedagogy, pace and standards, student performance and curricular effectiveness.Collect and analyzes performance data including, but not limited to, state and school-wide assessments regarding the achievement of students, work samples, and other pertinent information affecting the design and evaluation of curricula and instructional practices.Promote differentiated STEM instruction and the use of a variety of strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development.Identify staffing needs and assists with the recruitment and selection of outstanding, high-capacity instructional staff.
