(Kia ora, hi & g’day)In the last two decades I’ve founded, owned and operated two creative businesses.The first was a creative studio which I co-founded in ‘99 and where for 15 years I worked with local SMEs, helping them to put their best foot forward through consistent brand experiences and effective marketing. The second business was a direct-to-consumer apparel brand and ecommerce store with a customer base and supply chain in the USA, which I established in 2014, operated for 8 years and have recently exited.While leading both businesses, I had numerous roles and responsibilities. Including strategy, creative direction, design lead, art direction, product development & marketing, ecommerce, digital marketing and maintaining relationships with suppliers (B2B) and customers (D2C).I have been described as an “all-rounder”, with wide expertise and the depth and breadth of many years on-the-ground experience to back it up.In 2022 I started a new chapter, joining the award-winning Marketing team at locally owned retail cooperative Mitre 10, as eCommerce Content Manager where I am responsible for driving Content Strategy and Management - creating content experiences that inspire, inform and convert.
