In 1999, I earned my private helicopter pilot's license while working for our family business, McMahon Helicopter Services, Inc. (now d/b/a McMahon Airborne Logistics). That was the beginning of my aviation career, which has since taken me all over the U.S. and given me a front row seat in over a dozen different industries.Some of my favorite work was in the motion picture and television world where I've been a part of approximately 100 different film and video productions, ranging from small corporate presentations, Emmy Award winning television shows, and major motion pictures. Most of this work was behind the camera providing the perfect positioning of the helicopter for our onboard aerial camera systems. The rest was comprised of on-camera stunt work, some producing, and some bad pilot acting.While aerial film production was once a large part of our McMahon's business and company history, the core focus has always been time-critical transportation. McMahon specializes in providing rapid-response solutions for cargo and passengers. Our helicopter fleet allows us to bypass airports whenever possible, which saves our customers lots of time door-to-door.Today, as president of McMahon, I lead a highly skilled team comprised of pilots, mechanics, and logistics personnel dedicated to our customers' success.
