As each of the 6 of us continue to drive improvement in people, product and processes on the production floor, in the office, and over the road, we're also improving our own understanding of industry change and our customers' expectations of Arrow and our services. As Senior Project Manager, I was responsible for quoting new business opportunities, gaining Arrow Container valuable market share in preferred sectors. Thorough analysis and quick, aggressive decision making enabled us to execute our growth strategy as planned over the course of 4 years. Daily collaborations with the sales, design, purchasing, customer service, and production teams made it all possible. As Arrow continued to grow, I continued to expand my knowledge of our ERP (which put me in a position to train new staff and leadership), jumped on board with the safety committee, conducted ISO audits, as well as learned and coached LEAN and Six Sigma concepts - Six Sigma green belt classroom training completed February 2017.

As an intern for Special Olympics Indiana, I was able to gain valuable skills and knowledge about the recreational sports and non-profit industries. My time there was focused on basketball season. On a daily basis, I took part in the planning, preparation, and implementation processes of 3 different State-wide basketball tournaments. I was also assigned as a Sport Management Team Member for 2 of those tournaments which gave me the opportunity to learn about leading and delegating. I felt very comfortable in a leadership position, having helped plan, working on seeing those plans through, and finally using improvisational skills to handle un-planned issues. Through this internship, I gained valuable knowledge, leadership skills, and teamwork experience. Thanks SOI!

Valet Attendants are the first impression on our customers, visitors, patients, and employees as they arrive on campus and the last impression as each departs. We are expected to provide exceptional customer service including but not limited to: Greet and smile, directional and wheelchair assistance, and efficient parking and retrieval of valet service customer vehicles. Valet Attendants are crucial in welcoming and saluting everyone at St. Mary's through Relationship-Based Caring.
