First student supervisor to be promoted to such a position in almost a decade. This promotion was due to my refusal to waste time at work as a standard worker, strong leadership skills, ability to train new employees, good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and compliance with standards, and my excellent time management skills. I am most proud to say that I have cut the time to close the restaurant nearly in half on my shift by developing a schedule of tasks and the proper management of skills on each closing team to ensure that we meet my time benchmarks. While I have not had to handle much conflict during my time as a supervisor, both my teams of students and my own supervisors believe that I have done so appropriately and fairly. I understand that everyone on my team juggles various new responsibilities as working college students just as I have and I do my best to make sure that everyone's needs are catered to without sacrificing the good of the team overall.I commute from Fort Worth to Denton for my courses and work at Chick-Fil-A Benbrook during weekends and breaks. Due to the large discrepancy in my time at CFA Denton and CFA Benbrook, I have not stepped up to a leadership role at Benbrook due to my unfamiliarity with the specific procedures and scheduling of that location. I was moved there recently from the Ridgmar Mall location, which is owned by the same operator, due to the mall location's closure.
