Nick Ribbens is a Dutch pop producer, composer, and songwriter. After studying drums at the Herman Brood Academy, he went on to play with various musicians and bands throughout the country. Experimenting with producing his own music grew into doing multi-city tours as a DJ throughout China.Feeling the tour life wasn't for him he transitioned to producing music full-time for projects released on Sony, Universal and Cloud9. He has produced and written for Dutch singer Maan’s number 1 album Onverstaanbaar (2020), which achieved gold status within two weeks, as well as Laura Tesoro, IYES, Barrett Crake and BLØF.At the moment Nick is working with artists to discover and develop their sound, and collaborating with international labels to build careers with a shared long term vision. He became proficient mixing on an 56-channel SSL in the fully analogue and hybrid domains, and often uses vintage instruments to impart character to his projects.
