As CTO of for a E-Comm Retailer, I am responsible to reviewing, aligning, and maintaining business, marketing, operational functions with critical technologies while maturing business processes. As a client facing SA for PAR, my role was to help consult clients through implementation and trouble shooting of PAR and Punchh Technologies. During my tenure, I assisted YUM International, Zaxby's, Maggiano's, Focus Brands and many others QSR Restaurant Brands to integrate with and deploy PAR / Punchh technology stack into their enterprises.Key Project: Late last year I was asked to participate in a research project regarding data privacy. The project was all over the board with little to no progress. Since YUM VP was under pressure by their legal department to identify risks with Personal Identifiable Information, to adhere to GDPR regulations and satisfy data privacy lawsuits. However, her organization was not prepared or had the expertise to lead the data research effort for the organization. After participating for two months in this initiative, I asked my leadership and proposed to Yum, that I take over the Data Privacy research and GDPR regulation recommendations for YUM.After taking lead of the effort, with the assistance from multiple other YUM Partners, we were able identify PII, define a plan to close gaps and mitigate the risks, while cleansing all systems for PII requested for deletion. In a Little more than two months we complete the effort satisfying all Legal’s identified concerns with a roadmap on how to enhance compliance.As a response, I received multiple letters of recommendations and repair a strained partnership between PAR/Punchh and Yum.
