My primary task working at the Inns of Sanibel was making every guest happy. Guest satisfaction is was my priority; I made sure every guest walked out of reception with a smile on their face. As an innkeeper, I took all guest requests, inquiries, comments, and criticisms. I also stood in as a front desk agent where necessary. As the supervisor of the front desk, some of my main responsibilities included employee payroll, scheduling for front desk staff, interviewing all new candidates for front desk positions, training, and implementation of all existing and new hotel policies. I helped lead the team for all four hotels the Inns of Sanibel operate during brief absences of GM and AGM. I also assisted in rooms control by booking group reservations, handling third party bookings and their inquiries, and interfacing with wholesale agencies. I was responsible for rooming all new reservations, taking deposits, and inquiries.Other responsibilities includedhHandling guests' funds; authorizing, charging, and all other payments, and assisting with any of managements' needs.
