I trained in landscape architecture in the early 1980s and my portfolio covers a diverse range of schemes from international masterplanning and design schemes in the Middle East and China to education, urban design, education, commercial and transportation schemes in the United Kingdom and Europe. From 1988 until my retirement in 2019 I headed up firstly the landscape team of Atkins in our Bristol office; a young, talented team of landscape architects in our self-designed Hub building and latterly the Landscape teams in the Midlands, South West and Wales. I am currently working for Atkins on a consultancy basis and am the Environmental Director for the Cotswold Canals Trust.
