Led team of direct reports through implementation of RFID Kanban JIT inventory management system to brand new campus hospital. The implementation of the system reduce inventory on hand through right-sizing, elimination of excess and expired products, while improving data collection for continuous improvement. Partnered with Operational Excellence Team to mentor hospital staff through lean concepts and application of standard work, resulting in increased productivity and improvement in overall supply chain operations while keeping patient care the primary focus.

Managed inventory within the facility valued at 24MM on hand. Increased turns by one, year over year; increased material availability by 1.5%; reduced inbound freight costs through internal process improvement and vendor OTD performance. Led 10 direct reports and all associated administrative responsibilities.

Managed Inventory for all finished good commodities within the plant - average on hand inventory $2.5MM. Direct interaction with multiple vendors across Europe, India, and Asia with manufacturing lead times between 3 and 7 months. Focused on improving customer on time delivery for the company while increasing inventory turns, reducing lead times, MOQ's, and inbound freight costs. Managed logistical operations resulting in approx $1M worth of finished goods inventory leaving the plant daily. Increased OTD of the plant from its historical average of 74% to 91% during time as supervisor (Apr 2009-Jan 2010) through lean projects, cross training implementation, and team building. Duties included managing 12 union employees, scheduling daily operations, auditing stockroom inventory, dock operations, OSHA standards and practices. Additional projects included inventory reduction through E&O, deep-dive into transaction practices and purposes, and increased staging area by 45%
