With ~30 years of experience, I've lived in UK, Japan and US, worked in each of the pharma, biotech and CRO sectors, supported all clinical phases, and been accountable for strategic, operational, financial and commercial elements across the entire Clinical Development continuum.I'm passionate about the development of highly functioning organizations through the right balance of challenging and nurturing the colleagues I work with.While a statistician by training, I also bring the versatility to understand and function in new business areas, solid experience of system and process deployment, as well as program and study execution. Director, Clinical Programming and Writing (UK), responsible for reporting ~50% of Pfizer UK’s phase 2/3 portfolio and the phase 3b4 portfolio for all Europe and North Africa country offices. I also led the ramp-up of Shanghai's off-shore programming and medical writing support to the western business. Head, Clinical Operations Strategy Implementation (Japan), responsible for deployment of new global systems, processes, SOPs, training and retirement of their counterparts for Pfizer’s Japan Clinical Development. I was also responsible for local audit preparation and Biometrics project management activities for 2 large phase 3 programs. Global Biometrics Lead (UK), responsible for managing all Biometrics end game activities on pivotal Phase 3 study. This led to the approval of an important drug in Pfizer’s antifungal portfolio.Global Biometrics Consultant (Japan). During this secondment period I was responsible for deployment of new systems and processes to the Biometrics organisation in Japan, including Oracle Clinical and Pfizer’s global clinical study reporting software. I also supported ICH-E5 strategy development and deployment within Biometrics JapanGlobal Biometrics Team Leader (UK), responsible for Phase I Biometrics strategy (study, submission, publications etc) for development of a migraine drug.
