As a 31-year veteran of the furniture industry, I innately know how to engineer happiness into a workplace, to suit customers’ needs.Outfitting a commercial space doesn’t need to be a painful experience. My goal is to make the transaction one that is easy, functional, within budget and in accordance with workforce needs.There are no roadblocks when it comes to delivering excellent customer service. I pride myself on thinking outside of the square and creatively solving problems to achieve a customer’s vision.My experience has taught me to listen to customers, offer advice and ensure the end result is exactly what the customer wants. I’m not one for a hard sell. Instead, I bring a sense of humour, combined with honesty and integrity.I love the work I do – and the delight I bring to customers by turning their workplace into one that matches form to function, with pleasing aesthetics and user-friendly technical specs. My eye for design has been well honed over the years, and customers turn to me for advice throughout a project.I’ve spent over two decades with UCI in Brisbane, and along the way have built a vast network of customers, vendors, real estate industry contacts throughout Australia. I can leverage these relationships to the benefit of all, to make introductions, have insights into the market, call upon expertise or seek an opinion. For customers, this is an added benefit, intangible yet invaluable.I’m also committed to developing the next generation of commercial furniture specialists, and enjoy a long-standing partnership with staff and students in design at Brisbane’s QLD University of Technology - QUT, where I serve in an advisory educational capacity.
