As a Senior Designer at Aon, I oversea innovative and commercially effective campaigns that increase customer engagement. This is central to all the work I undertake and achieved through creative design, developing strong relationships with senior stakeholders, brand innovation, creating infographics and the production of effective digital assets. DE&I and accessibility concerns with print and digital communications are issues that I deal with on a day to day basis.

My work with Ogilvy & Mather included design, artworking and retouching. Specifically, creating newspaper adverts, poster campaigns and all manner of direct mail and POS. My latest work for Ogilvy, however, involved the design and creative artwork of Sage computing software and PHE (Public Health England). Sage (in May 2015) was in it’s final stage with press adaptations starting to appear in all the major newspapers throughout Europe, as well as a variety of OOH posters and digital displays in both Madrid and Barcelona airports. PHE was ongoing as of June 2015, but my previous work on the direct mail side had already over achieved expectations. In particular, the ‘Smart Swapper’ device, which I designed and artworked in collaboration with the Senior Art Directors was a major plus for the group. I also held studio management responsibilities.

I was employed by Outdoor Partners Ltd in the imaging studio where I was Mac Operator, Artworker and Retoucher for seven years. My daily duties involved working on DM and poster artworking/retouching and training all new staff in my department. I was also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the large format Vutek digital printers, the computers and intranet. In addition to this, my experience as Studio Manager placed me as the point of contact for all queries, from clients and staff alike, overcoming problems in Adobe print related files, network program upgrades, troubleshooting and ensuring all targets were met. In particular, my solid interpersonal skills enabled me to motivate and organise teams around specific projects in which I lead by example through hard work and commitment to deadlines. Our client list included the London based agencies JWT, DDB, BBH, MC Saatchi and Publicis.

As a 4 Colour final Film Planner, I gained vast experience in print production and developed excellent interpersonal skills. My responsibilities ranged from pre-press file setup to final customer approval. Other duties included frequent liaison and meetings with clients, network administration and daily use of major IT and DTP software packages, such as Indesign, Photoshop and QuarkXpress.
