Currently, transitioning from Ultra Tax software to Drake software. My responsibilities include moving individual tax returns from the old software to the new software. I’m making sure that the 1040 Federal Tax returns match up when implementing numbers in the Drake software. I am gaining experience with Schedule A Itemized Deductions, Schedule B Interest and Dividends, Schedule C Business Income, Schedule D Capital Gains and Losses, and Schedule E Rental Income. I’m updating all of our individual tax returns so that when the tax season of 2018, we can have a smooth transition and provide the best possible service for our clients. I’m also updating businesses and corporations and moving those tax returns into the new software. I’m gaining knowledge in balance sheets and making sure that assets equals liabilities when transition from Ultra Tax to Drake software. I’m making sure all the numbers match up whether it would be a 1065 Partnership or 1020 SCorp or a regular Corp and overriding if necessary. Entering trial balances and making sure that assets equal the liabilities and revenues equals expenses. My responsibilities in this case is to make sure that all of the numbers from the balance sheet and income statement tie out before importing and exporting the business return into our new software.

Used carrier status reporting website to update whirlpool and Penske on the status of loads. I used Transport Pro systems to look at pickup and delivery times. Utilized macro-point for updates on Canada and Mexico loads and four kites for updates on United States loads for tracing purposes. Made sure that every load was tracking and tracing properly so that we could get updates every two hours on the drivers. Emailed FedEx with updates on the loads. Communicated via google voice with our own carriers to ensure on time pickup and delivery. Went on bolt express website to update Mexico loads every four hours. Communicated and negotiated rates with customers and carriers.

Analyzed costs of copiers to determine potential opportunity for business. Visited businesses to discuss prospective opportunities. Managed existing accounts and developed new customers to maintain rapport and relationships. Scheduled 10-15 weekly appointments with new and existing customers.
