I'm a philosopher turned advertising planner, turned into some sort of hybrid creature via work with The School of Life and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. Whether doing traditional advertising planning, training people how to use Behavioural Economics to make them better at marketing or teaching people how to be cool at The School of Life the common theme is trying to find ideas that change things.Specialties: Words, ideas, stuff

At Ogilvy I learnt my trade as a Junior Planner on Lucozade, Lucozade Sport, Eagle Star, Perrier, Royal & Sun Alliance and assorted COI projects for the likes of the Department of Health and the Department of Trade & Industry. I also worked with Lee Taylor in the Discovery Unit thinking about men as consumers, Single Person Households, Old-Age, brands and trust and got stuck into some wild and wonderful NPD projects with Unilever that make me smile to this very day.
