While working as a full time Manufacturing Engineer, I started this small furniture business to take my income to the next level and pay off my student loans with a higher sense of urgency. When I got temporarily let go from my Engineering job due to a slow season, I decided to take my business to the next level until I can find my way back into engineering again.I specialize in building custom bedroom furniture solutions. Most of my projects are for kids bunk beds, loft beds, as well as unique forts and small cabin beds. I also take on other custom carpentry projects as they come up.

Post Falls, Idaho

• Launched AMC's first Assembly line and improved its efficiency by over 400% during my 3 years at AMC• Introduced a pad printing operation to AMC’s production capabilities. This project had a 1 year ROI and added an additional $50-$75K to their income annually• Introduced a CNC Router to improve ergonomics for operators and lower risk of injury. The CNC Router also allows AMC to build quality fixtures in-house for their customers creating an average of $5000 in additional income each year while saving $1000’s when an old fixture needs replacing• Played an integral role in moving the company from one location to the next• Brought over 30 corrective actions to completion preventing all 30 of those problems from ever happening again• Provided training on Lean Concepts, Corrective Actions, and Safety for all AMC employees• Recorded every improvement project and held a report-out at each monthly meeting

Fargo, North Dakota Area

• Doubled the rate of production on the APB Trailer line from 5 to 10 Trailers per week.• Developed a door prop that eliminates risk of injury/death in the final assembly stages of assembly• Trained 200+ employees about Kanban systems and aided in the implementation of said, kanban system• Improved some processes by up to 75% in regards to travel time• Improved ergonomics in the sand blasting, painting, and final assembly areas by getting product off the floor and onto mobile units• During my 8 months as a full-time intern, I saved Trail King over $25K cash annually, helped double production through various process improvements, and made the employees I worked with feel like they could make a difference in the company
