I am a highly motivated and determined individual with aspirations to succeed in the film industry utilizing my skills in production, editing and use of technical equipment. I have previously written, directed and edited short films during my Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies at Anglia Ruskin University. In addition I own Avid, Sony Vegas and have access to Final Cut Pro editing software with which I continue to produce short movies in my personal time. My time in Cambridge, England and Madrid, Spain during my degree fueled my ambition to excel in the film industry. I developed practical knowledge and expertise in film production enabling me to develop a filming schedule and complete filming and editing to a tight schedule and budget producing short documentaries and short stories. Collectively, knowledge and theory acquired during my degree in conjunction with my practical skills learnt in my previous volunteering experience has allowed me to develop advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills. As well as encouraging me to learn project management and communication skills, I have adapted to environments quickly, and have the ability to work in and amongst diverse teams.
