Nick is the Founder of KENTA Together, a social enterprise that supports people and organisations to improve their well being to lead healthier lives.Kenta brings to together the latest science and research in movement, nutrition, and relaxation to present solutions to enhance wellbeing and overall health.Nick is a qualified leader in running and movement fitness and along with his co-founder studies nutritional science and aspects of relaxation to present a holistic approach to improving wellbeing.Prior to this Nick has 43 years work experience starting with 13 years as a Civil Servant holding roles in administrative, executive, and unified grades. He worked in the private sector for 10 years through to director level at a FTSE50 listed company. He co-founded Bodyproject from new business startup in 2007, taking it to a position as one of the North West’s high growth companies. Bodyproject was also the co-founder with Acervale Ltd of thisway - the way to communicate.Nick’s experience encompasses all aspects of leadership, fiduciary board level direction, governance and internal control, partnerships and programme management. His specialisms are environmental, social corporate governance (ESG) and advanced stakeholder management; including specialising in health and wellbeing projects.His four-decade career has spanned roles in the public, private and third sectors. His work in stakeholder management and communications has covered many disciplines including advertising, political affairs, internal communications, media, corporate responsibility, marketing, and public relations.As a high-performance coach Nick believes it is imperative that every person cares deeply about success; make the right choices, and that they are fully involved and able and eager to rise to the challenges of sustainability.I believe “work is about more than making a living – it should be meaningful and substantive”.Charity, social and community enterprise, corporate and social responsibility programmes are close to Nick’s heart and he has invested a significant amount of his personal time and energies over the past into his roles at various charities.Nick was shortlisted as Business Person of the Year in the Warrington Business Awards 2015. He was awarded North West business in the arts charity board director across two years and also business adviser of the year.

The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Peace Foundation supports and helps others affected by conflict so that they too may work in the name of peace and reconciliation, to help prevent violence in their own communities and beyond. The Foundation is the only UK organisation which supports victims and survivors of political violence, conflict and acts of terror through the provision of learning programmes which explore the causes and effects of conflict and its resolution through non-violent means. The Foundation supports victims of terrorism to rebuild their lives and those who risk their lives to keep us safe. It works with young people to help them turn away from violence and helps communities by challenging prejudice and discrimination.The foundation was formed in the aftermath of the 1993 IRA bombing of Warrington which killed 12-year-old Tim Parry and three-year-old Jonathan Ball and injured 56 others.
