Lead Army advisor for structural change as part of the Army’s budget and programme office, controlling the allocation and spend of the annual Army budget of £12Bn. Planned full-scale restructuring of the Army, presenting arguments at Board level. Included managing programme to withdraw 10,000 personnel from Northern Ireland, delivering £250M annual savings. Conducted annual budget screenings to secure resources for the Army and allocate them in line with strategic objectives.

Positions including:• Chief advisor to Commanding Officer on organisation and career management in 650-strong battalion.• Head of training, operations and resource coordination, planning and executing move of battalion to Cyprus to assume an operational role.
