Head coach for Newquay's only full time black belt led Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club.I design and structure all the curriculum and timetable, membership packages and student events and gradings etc.In addition to the day-to-day running of a club, I organise and run networking events for business professionals who share a common interest of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.I also host BJJ enthusiasts on action/activity camps both locally to me and further afield.

I started this business in 2006 and built a partnership with the Red Hotels Group which encompasses two 4-star hotels located in Mawgan Porth; Bedruthan Hotel and Spa and the prestigious Scarlet Hotel.I created a convenient guest offering onsite allowing guests a surf-in-surf-out experience, from their bedrooms to the beach to the spa.Day to day running involved managing a team of 6 coaches to deliver surf coaching to a varied client base, from families with young children, 1:1 experiences, couples escapes, corporate experiences and more.In order to develop the business and align with the hotels vision, I worked closely with the marketing departments, reservations teams and front of house. This has given me a wide understanding of the business needs around hospitality, particularly where it pertains to leisure.In addition to generating revenue, I was entirely responsible for forming sponsorships and relationships with suppliers for all equipment, in particular I was successful in forming a long-term partnership with the Oneill Wetsuits brand, FCS Europe and Softech Surfboards.

I held the responsibility of managing daily operations at this multi-million pound beachside property. Tasks included: acting liaison between property owner, PA, suppliers, contractors, holiday letting agency; coordinating maintenance schedules; addressing and completing essential maintenance and repairs.

In October 2011, I was promoted from Internal Account Manager to Partner Account Manager. My day-to-day involved securing and closing new business opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly and yearly targets. In Q4 2011 and Q1 2012, our team outperformed the other country teams for new business, meeting 160% of our target year-on-year.I secured and attended partner meetings UK-wide meetings on a weekly basis.
