I concentrate my practice in the areas of local government law, land use, zoning, and litigation. I assist municipalities, counties, governmental agencies, and private clients on matters related to zoning, permitting, variances, annexations, condemnation/eminent domain, public records, special use permits, site plans, subdivisions, and administrative law issues. I also devote part of my practice to civil litigation, representing clients in a wide range of complex government-related disputes, land use litigation, zoning disputes, and condemnation/eminent domain litigation.

Lobbied and advocated on a wide range of legislative issues, representing the League members’ interests with the State General Assembly. Provided advice and strategy assistance to the Director of Government Affairs and Chief Legislative Counsel on a variety of legislative and legal issues.

Researched legislative issues, scheduled and briefed Senator for meetings, compiled and tracked bill information, managed certain Senate office duties, and assisted with the passage of legislation. Assisted and worked with legislative staff, constituents, lobbyists, legislators, and government officials.
