General Assembly’s Web Development Immersive program is an intensive, 3-month long course, where you learn the basic concepts of computer programming and all the necessary languages and frameworks to become a full stack web developer. Throughout the course, I spent 75+ hours per week learning and applying the following coding languages and frameworks: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, Express, NodeJS, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, AJAX, Bootstrap, Active Record, MongoDB, Mongoose, PSQL.Projects Include: • Qualifi - Utilized the MEAN stack to build a mortgage pre-qualification app. The app allows a user to input basic information about themselves and uses Angular and two way data binding to take a lot of the calculations away from the user. The information is then stored in a Mongo database where various JavaScript calculations are run against the users input. The calculations decide if you pre-qualify for a mortgage based on minimum industry accepted qualification guidelines. • Politicator - Successfully pitched a web application idea that helps people understand where they fall on the political spectrum in relation to the two presidential elects. This project utilized Ruby on Rails and incorporated data validation and user authentication. • Alphabet Match - Utilized JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build a matching game that demonstrates basic JavaScript proficiency.

As an officer at FirstBank, I gained invaluable experience managing a major retail branch in addition to the Mortgage Servicing division. In the Mortgage Servicing department I was responsible for the banks Mortgage Servicing portfolio. I managed a team of 23 individuals with the primary goal of taking care of our mortgages and customers once the loans were closed. My team acted as the liaison between our customers and the various investors we sold loans to and it was paramount to maintain compliance with RESPA, TILA, and Fair Lending practices. In addition to managing the day to day operations of the servicing department, I also had the pleasure of working side by side with several individuals of the IT department. Our task was to develop a testing plan and strategy to ensure the bank's mortgage servicing software was always up and running and functioning as intended.
