I conduct hands on research on a variety of samples to determine the proper optical techniques to illuminate and image the membranes of living cells. By doing this, I hope to create an image where the point spread functions of individual live cells can be distinguished while creating a depth of field of about 50 μm (about 10x deeper than normal). -
