Provide and communicate vision for future informational needs, technological infrastructure, communication and fundraising to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, participating hospitals and sponsors. Translate the vision into a roadmap and plan for execution.Solicit feedback from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, participating hospitals and sponsor for ideas and expectations of products, services and support offered by Information Technology.Establish the 3 – 5 year goals for information, technology, applications and fundraising, communicate it to executive management, the board of directors, hospitals and sponsors. Communicate on a regular basis to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals staff, participating hospitals and sponsors through speaking engagements, email, webinars, intranet sites and monthly publications to keep all constituents informed about Information Technology.Provide Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals national staff with top quality, consistently available computer service, support training and maintenance of all computer systems used throughout the organization. Keep technological infrastructure, communication technology, information systems and fundraising tools operable and to fulfill requests for support. Create, maintain and enforce written policies and procedures regarding all computer operations in the I.T. Department. Compile and review records to determine department productivity, quality of output and cost of service. Evaluate new equipment, software and processes continuously, recommend changes as appropriate. Attract, develop and maintain a world class team of Information Technology associates through, recruitment, training, empowerment and accountability.Write department annual budgets and administer funds according to budget approval.
