Authentic and Transparent GuidanceNick is grateful for his family, friends and his love for helping others. His life experiences have always included strong faith and gratitude to overcome fear. Learning and growing is the essence of how he works to support members of AAA.Overcoming obstacles is something everyone experiences, and Nick is no different. Expectations are set and often met, but it is the failures that helped Nick become resilient. He grew up in a large family, and values were a part of everyday life as well as living those values. The most important lessons Nick learned growing up was to have faith, gratitude, and that everything happens for a reason. In any family there is always a degree of adversity, and his family certainly had their share. However, the Westphal family believes in a foundation of family first and love always. This perspective strengthened them as a family and paved the way for Nick to join the helping field. They learned to face their challenges confidently and with courage. Upon graduation from high school, Nick found his calling in the field of Psychology and graduated with his Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in School Psychology. Nick then went on to work in the school setting first as a School Psychologist and then as the Director of Special Education. Naturally, Nick is a service-oriented person and this field of work suited him. He had a real affinity for helping those with disabilities, their families, educators and all learners. Now, Nick has chosen a career helping others protect their families and their hard-earned standard of living. With suitable strategies Nick provides security for a lifetime of experiences and memory-making for those he serves. His ultimate joy is helping families realize their path forward while enjoying the present. His goal is to improve their lives and help them reach their dreams. He likes to say, “We walk together on a journey and we'll enjoy it along the way.”
