Summer camp counselor

I was responsible for staff timetables, staff wage sheets and the training of new staff. I was the point of contact for our staff and reported to the head office. I made sure that I personally and our staff were providing excellent customer service, keeping the driving range in a clean condition and maintained machinery. As part of a small team I provided excellent customer service, kept the driving range clean and welcoming, maintained machinery, arranged ball collection, and would open some early shifts and close some late shifts.

A seasonal job at an America Summer camp for children aged 6-17. I was a cabin counsellor for boys ages 6-12 and was responsible for their safety, health and hygiene whilst also making their summer as enjoyable as possible. I trained as a Red Cross lifeguard and took many sessions in open water such as canoe & kayak sessions, swimming lessons, snorkeling and being an active lifeguard for groups of up to and over 100 children.I also ran a variety of other sessions such as cricket, football… Show more A seasonal job at an America Summer camp for children aged 6-17. It was crucial to work well as a team with fellow counselors to ensure a safe fun atmosphere as well as working independently and leading others in activities. It was also important to have an innovative mindset to come up with new ways to lead sessions and make activities different from day to day and week to week.
