Worked within Lloyds and HBOS Integration Program to deliver office consolidation benefits of £300M. The 5 year program streamlined the LBG estate by over 150 offices and locations through the Integration of the 2 banks.My role involved partnering with the LBG Corporate businesses Offshore (Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) and Internationally, to understand their integrated business strategy in order to design and subsequently implement, a plan to deliver office closure and consolidation synergy savings. I worked alongside key business decision-makers, to ensure their proposals aligned with the Integration Office Consolidation targets. Frequently, this involved close liaison with other Lloyds Banking Group functions such as HR & IT but also Trade Unions where proposed office closures were particularly sensitive.

Worked within the IT functions of the HBOS and Lloyds Vehicle Management (Contract Hire) companies to integrate the various brands and companies into a single business entity (Lex Autolease).I worked with end customers, suppliers and senior executives, to identify and assess strengths andweaknesses of the IT platforms and business process of each of the 4 brands / companies within the post-merger Lloyds Banking Group. Our intention was to bring those companies under a single integrated operating platform and business process – which became Lex Autolease.I worked within a small project team, tasked with obtaining consensus for a 'best of breed' IT platform and business process, upon which the new business entity would be based. We produced a comprehensive report recommendation, which had to address the different cultural and political issues within the 4 original companies. We then sought out key stakeholders and influencers and worked with them to ensure their buy-in.

Supported the HBOS Motor Finance division, leading the roll-out of an internet-based Motor Finance calculator and application processing system to 500 car, caravan and motorcycle dealers.I lead a team through the design and implementation and enhancement upgrade lifecycle of the internet system (the first web-based 'Finance Calculator' to be used in the UK). My team subsequently designed 'white label' versions of the calculator for roll-out to HBOS Corporate partners including the AA, Sainsburys and Porsche Financial Services.The role required me to quickly understand the motor business, the various nuances of different dealer markets and traders and build a rapport with a diverse customer (user) group to ensure the success of the Finance Calculator.
