As part of the UK role out of JDE, my role was to assist the implementation team producing training documentation, and defining, setting up and testing the security roles for the Finance users.

Upon acquiring the US based Glen-Gery Brick company, Ibstock commenced a project to migrate Glen-Gery’s processes and data from Lawson to JDE version 9.1. The approach taken was, to where possible, bring Glen-Gery in line with Ibstock processes, unless local legislation or practices dictated otherwise. My role in the project covered procurement and elements of GL and transportation. Continued at Ibstock completing an upgrade for the UK business and implementing at a further two Ibstock companies from Sage to JDE.

As part of a project to move much of their processing to a central service centre, Lloyd’s Register having worked with JDE for a number of years, sought to enhance/redesign aspects of their Procure to Pay processes. This took the form of both revisions to JDE configuration, and the creation of a number of reports/outputs from JDE. Transform was then used in certain cases to adapt and transmit documents both internally and externally.

British Sugar having worked with JDE Xe for a number of years was embarking on an upgrade to 9.1. This also involved a degree of rationalisation/rework/redesign. My role was within the Procure to Pay stream, dealing with all aspects in the Procurement and Accounts Payable areas (business analysis, configuration, testing, data migration) including existing and new modifications/interfaces

February 2011 to December 2011 Donaldson Filtration SolutionsDonaldson has established E1 and World systems, interfaced via Web Methods. My role was to support the in-house Finance applications specialist, with general support of the existing systems and interfaces. Specific projects included documenting existing setup in the manufacturing accounting area and making corrections where necessary, and implementing Automatic Payment Processing to facilitate transmission to various bank software across Europe.

My initial role on my return to Silentnight, was to assist in an archiving project. In addition I provided general support, resolving issues and testing enhancements.

Having joined an established team of consultants a month before go-live, my role was to support the final stages of the project, training, go-live and post go-live support, primarily in Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Distribution and Manufacturing Accounting.

In 2008 VION launched the One Financial Backbone (OFB) program. It's main objectives being to unify and improve the quality of financial processes, establish a single system platform to support finance operations based on JD Edwards software (JDE) v 8.12 and standardise all financial data and reporting within the organisation. As part of the team of 3 application consultants and 3 developers, tasked with the configuration of a core model, and development and testing of multiple interfaces, I took primary responsibility for the General Ledger and Accounts Payable modules.

As part of the Master Data Management team I was primarily responsible for the definition and testing of interfaces via Web Methods between JDE and Prodika, and SAP and JDE. Other responsibilities included defining security requirements and some data migration work.

The JDE implementation project involved the role out of a core model designed in France, to the UK and Irish companies. My areas of responsibility were procurement, account payable, inventory and general ledger, covering , configuration, localisation, change management and data migration

Capio Healthcare, a European company, is a leading provider of private hospital services, in the UK owning a network of 21 private hospitals, 8 NHS Treatment Centres, Psychiatric Hospitals, Neurological services and dedicated eye unit.In May 2004, Capio signed the largest public sector care contract ever awarded to a private healthcare provider in the UK. Under this contract 95,000 NHS patients will be treated by Capio over 5 years, in nine specialist centres - five newly built, two in NHS facilities, and two in Capio's existing hospitals in England. Working with the Commissioning and Implementation Team my role was to configure, train, and support the procure to pay process for these new sites.

My role on the JDE implementaton project, during the solution walkthrough and action labs phases of the project was as integration manager. The project covering financials, distribution and manufacturing

As part of a team of consultants providing post go-live support, my role covered both Finance and Distribution.

As part of a large multi-discipline implementation team my role for Phase 1 of the project was as a JDE OneWorld Procurement and Inventory consultant, supporting the Conference Room Pilot, Tune, Train, and Test phases of the project.The project was based in The Hague with regular visits to Atyrau, Kazakhstan.From September 2002 my role within Phase 2 of the project changed to one of Implementation Team Lead, managing a team of 10 consultants across Distribution, Finance and Job Costing modules.

G’s Marketing is a family business, growing and marketing fresh salads and vegetables. With a turnover of £95m per annum their customers include a number of the leading quality supermarkets in the UK.Having implemented JD Edwards One World Xe General Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Sundry Sales Ledger, G’s wished to implement Fixed Assets, Distribution, Manufacturing and Transportation. There were also a number of issues within finance that needed addressing, including a total chart of accounts redesign.My role on the project has been as the Finance lead, addressing issues with the live configuration, adding to the functionality and working closely with all other areas of the project to ensure that all the business’s financial reporting requirements were met.

Calvin Klein Cosmetics, part of the Unilever group who currently using JD Edwards World software, were about to carry out an E9 Conversion, to meet the necessary Euro requirements. My role was two fold, firstly assisting in the testing of E9 and secondly providing general support to users in the Paris office.

The Energis project was a two site OneWorld implementation based in the UK, at Reading (Energis Communications Ltd - ECL) and Leeds (Energis - Squared), (formerly Planet Online Ltd) – ECL2). The scope of the project was to implement Core Financials (AR, AP GL) plus Procurement and Sales Order Management. The project was the first to use KPMG’s JDEdward’s Rapid Return on InvestmentTM (RROI) methodology.• I joined the project at the outset in January 2000. My role being Procure to Pay (PtoP) team leader, responsible for implementing both the AP and Procurement modules. I was responsible for leading the team through the process of designing and configuring changes from the RROI template. Post go-live I continued to provide support to users, being involved in the resolution of post implementation teething problems, further knowledge transfer to client staff and resolution of integrity issues

This project involved the design and implementation of JD Edwards One World/World system to cover financials and distribution. As a full time member of the Finance team, I was primarily involved in those areas where distribution and finance meet.
