With NewBees I told the many stories of refugees integrating into the Dutch (working) society. From newcomers who fulfilled their passion as chicken farmer to nurses who help in the fight against corona. I also did strategic communication. For example, creating campaigns and increasing the communicative independence of the nine different locations. All together in an inclusive team of 50/50 newbees distributed over 9 offices in the Netherlands.

For 5 years my colleagues and I advised (inter)national brands and companies. We analysed qualitative and quantitative research to gain insight into consumer behaviour. Based on this, we formulated the positioning, strategic priorities and the concept for communication.I always enjoyed generating the 'aha moment' in management and teams by presenting the findings and facilitating workshops. In a board of 11 people, we continued to manage an association with 1600 active members, and that during its 200th anniversary. In my role, I was responsible for obtaining ± € 100,000 acquisition (check!) and managing ± 60 people. In this year I ensured equality and fairness was part of every decision I made and I took the internal communication out of the Stone Age.

In addition to mastering the copy machine, I made presentations for the 'Brand Positioning' and 'Consumer Insights' training courses. On my own initiative, I analysed the success factors of the Brand Building Awards entries (spoiler alert: better insight into consumer behaviour led to more successful initiatives).
