Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity is the world’s biggest celebration of creativity in communications. I led the creative team behind Cannes Lions and three other festivals. Experience and responsibilities;• Coordinating / creating the communications strategy for marketing and advertising across all media channels• Managing a team of editors, producers, designers and programmers, plus external advertising and production agencies• Co-ordinating content production and its processes – news, seminar programmes and speaker profiles• Being the brand guardian for the festivals - developing the look and feel over multiple years• Publishing content across print and digital including producing festival video footage and interviews• Coordinating on-site festival branding including billboards, banners, signage and the festival catalogue• Overseeing website systems including scoping, CMS and CRM development• Email marketing and some SEO experience • New product development – I creatively oversaw the launch of two new festivals based in Dubai and Singapore within tight timeframes - the Dubai Lynx and Spikes Asia• Other festivals - Eurobest Awards (a festival which travelled to a different European city each year)
