I have had the pleasure of joining a bunch of remarkable bunch humans to work on some exciting new, and not so new, fundraising projects. In my short stint at Orange Sky, I implemented two new online donor journeys, set up preference centers and a central communication list so donors have more control over the email communications they receive, built on their existing donation page experiences, worked through the nitty gritty data and Salesforce setups with a talented data wizard to improve segmentation for tailored comms and reporting for appeals and retention, brought in fundraising strategy to appeals and campaigns that have mostly been marketing lead, wrote oodles of copy, created a bunch of creative assets, worked with a bunch of folks to add a full DM channel to their Holiday appeal, and met some incredible people.Orange Sky truly is a phenomenal service and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to help them fund services that will do an incredible amount of good for communities across Australia and New Zealand.

Individual Giving Coordinator with brackets - Regular Giving - is essentially just a fancy way to say that my job is to help everyday people have an impact through giving to the cause(s) closest to their heart in a way that helps them set and forget... well at least forgetting the payment process and not the good stuff they're doing by giving monthly.As a part of the UnitingCare Queensland Fundraising team, I was responsible for coordinating and implementing a multi-channel approach to acquiring and retaining monthly donors for at least 4 different charities!Working alongside some great humans in Individual Giving, Supporter Experience, and Finance, more people are now making a sustainable contribution to disaster recovery, mental health, aged care, family and disability, homelessness and hospital services in Queensland communities. How incredible is that?

There was a gap to fill in our team to start fundraising more online. As someone who loves tinkering around with platforms, connectors and technology, I wanted to help fill the need and moved in to a Digital Fundraising role within the wider Fundraising team.In this role, I was responsible for coordinating and implementing all things digital to support and uplift campaigns and appeals across every area of Fundraising.
