As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and former U.S. Marine, I’m driven by a purpose rooted in resilience, empathy, and empowering others. With over eight years of service in the Marine Corps and deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, my experiences have instilled in me a deep commitment to leadership and dedication to helping others navigate their challenges.I am the founder of Champion’s Fight Counseling and Consulting, a private practice grounded in existential humanistic principles and dedicated to guiding clients through their most challenging moments. In addition to this, I work with clients across all ages at SafeHaven of Tarrant County and used expressive arts therapy as a graduate student intern at The Art Station in Fort Worth. My work reflects my belief that each person has the capacity for growth, even in the face of adversity.I’m also passionate about mental performance, having completed two Ironman races and currently pursuing certification as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. With a background as a two-sport collegiate athlete, teacher, and coach, I understand the pressures of high performance and seek to support others in reaching their potential, whether on the field, in the classroom, or in their personal lives. My educational journey includes a CACREP-accredited master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and an MS in sports management focused on coaching leadership and theory.Every role I’ve held, from Marine to counselor to educator, has been dedicated to service. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and anyone interested in impactful collaboration or conversations around mental health, performance, and social change.
