As the UWNI Community Impact Manager, I provide leadership in implementing United Way of North Idaho’s community impact agenda and its goals by working with community organizations and coalitions, school districts, local government, volunteers, and health and human services providers.Particularly, I am involved with UWNI advocacy efforts, specifically for ALICE families, early learning, child care; communications with United Way stakeholders; resource development; development and implementation of the marketing plan; assist with community speaking engagements; and help maintain nonprofit and other community-based relationships through one-on-one connections, as well as group associations and coalitions. A core function is the management and facilitation of the Community Care Fund grants, the associated project applicants, and volunteers; as well as the AmeriCorps VISTA Project.As a military spouse and a transplant from Germany, I am bilingual and have a diverse and multicultural background that enriches my perspective and network. I recently moved from the Shenandoah Valley, VA to Coeur d'Alene, ID.
