Understanding how individual differences shape behaviour which in turn leads to positive outcomes in a person x situation context forms a big part of my research interest. Broadly, my interest in sport & performance psychology explores motivation & performance under pressure as well as learning and skill acquisition in student and athletes. In my research & work as a Wushu sports coach, I seek to balance theory and practice via a scientist-practitioner approach. As the founder & chief coach at Wushumetrics, I work together with a passionate coaching team to provide Wushu services, fundamental movement skills and mental skills training & assessment for children & youths with the aim of improving holistic development.
