I recently accepted a position as Talent Acquisition Manager at Smith & Loveless in Lenexa, KS after retiring from 20 years on active duty with United States Navy. I previously led and trained a team of recruiters across four states, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency in attracting and hiring top talent for technical and general positions in the United States Navy. I am passionate about developing and empowering my team, using Lean Six Sigma and High Velocity Learning techniques to identify and implement process improvements, conducting production reviews and training with division leadership.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills have been foundational personal characteristics to success throughout my last 17 years of recruiting. I have the capability of establishing strong relationships and building rapport with hiring managers and candidates. Strong project management and organizational skills have ensured my successful management of multiple competing priorities and meeting critical deadlines. I'm a self-motivated and strategic thinker and have proven it by exceeding quotas and maintaining retention in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
