Representing the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) in the Netherlands by building the community, and advocating for the importance of Open Source Software.

This internship position originated from my internship at Liandon. During this project I've contributed technically to the new internal Alliander start-up MPARE. This regards both the development of the high-level concept and the low-level specifications of a new type of consumer-oriented smart-grid communication infrastructure.Technology used: Clojure, ClojureScript, Kubernetes, Ruby on Rails, Prometheus, Kibana.

My graduation project revolves around fault location measurements in infrastructures, targeted to low-voltage faults. Despite the fact that low-voltage faults contribute only to about a fourth of the total outage time, the faults have a relatively long duration when they occur. By having relevant information in place even before an engineer is at the location, the total process of resolving the fault can be shortened.

This regards my internship position at Liandon, which mainly consists of my contribution to the new Alliander internal start-up MPARE My secondary project was the development of a set of recommendations for the continuation of the Bronsbergen microgrid pilot project environment.My internship formally moved to MPARE as of the start of 2013.
