I am Nico Sturm, Professor of Social Management and Programme Director at the IU International University. With over twelve years of experience in adult education and the further development of social organisations, I have a clear mission: to master the social challenges of our time with innovative and practical concepts.My expertise:- Nonprofit Management & Social Economy: In-depth knowledge in the management and quality management of social organisations, supported by extensive research and teaching in this field.- Social Entrepreneurship: Theoretical and practical knowledge in the development and promotion of social innovation projects, with a special focus on the theoretical foundations and practical approaches that support social entrepreneurs.- Digital Education & Lifelong Learning: Integration of modern learning technologies into educational processes in order to sustainably promote individual potential.Achievements & Vision:My work is characterised by a close connection between theory and practice. In my role as head of an academic centre and a department in the public sector, I have gained valuable experience in the management and further development of educational programmes and in social management. Particularly in the field of digital education, I have successfully supported organisations in integrating modern learning technologies into their processes and thus sustainably promoting individual potential.My vision is to further explore the potential of social entrepreneurship and non-profit management and to contribute to strengthening these fields through my teaching and research activities.
