By becoming a senior technician my responsibilities have increased. Next to the duties of datacenter technician I am in charge for different projects for internal and external customers. Also acting as an example for the team is part of my daily business, in case of upcoming issues I support my colleagues and encourage them to solve problems by themselves.

In my current function as datacenter technician at Equinix, I'm responsible for the well-being of customer equipment in our data center. A big part of the job is to repair servers, diagnose problems to ensure maximal availability of customer servers equipment. I also handle incidents like broken network devices and install connections between customers and service providers. Next to those tasks I ensure that customer requests are handled in a timely manner and if necessary to find suitable solutions in line with the customers needs. I strive to deliver perfection in everything I do. *It's never crowded along the extra mile*
