In this part-time research proyect I worked in a folded protein research lab in campus. The lab had some old analog Uvicord SII equipment that they were not using. Using an arduino microcontroller, I managed to convert the analog signal emitted by the monitor into a digital one that could be read through an excel spreadsheet and data capturing software. Thanks to my research, the lab can use the equipment and software to generate protein elution profiles and data they can store in a computer for analysis and storage. During this period I learned the following skills-Protein elution -Western Blot.-Arduino programming.-Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
