NICOLETTA IACOBACCI, PhD, is a Global Technology & Ethics Advisor, Transmedia Visionary, Senior Advisor at Singularity University, Professor and Author of "Exponential Ethics"She's member of the Executive Committee of the non-profit organization "Women's Brain Project," aiming to support women's mental health. Her studies focus on ethics, emerging technologies, and the positive and negative effects of technological progress. Member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and a BAFTA guru, she has been a producer/ reporter for RAI, the Italian national TV system from the USA. She created and managed the first digital laboratory of RAI Corporation, realizing in 1994 the RAI's first official website. Back in Europe, she created and managed RAI Interactive TV laboratory. In 2006 she moved to Switzerland to work for the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the world organization of public service broadcasting (PSM) with 115 members in 56 countries and nearly 2,000 channels including TV, radio, and online services, as Head of Strategy and Media of the Future. In 2014, she left EBU to finish a doctorate in philosophy and communication and is now intensely interested in a new educational method, adaptive learning, which uses computer algorithms to orchestrate student interaction and customize the educational experience to the individual. She has been curator of six TEDx events, ambassador of Singularity University in Switzerland, and promoter of the Hyperloop Transportation Technology's ethical guidelines. Her first book, Exponential Ethics, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation, was published in 2018 in English and Chinese. She's now working on her second book, to be released in October 2021.
