He has 19 years of experience in technology consulting, 14 years of experience in organizing international conferences and more than 15 years of experience in research and development, in private firms and educational institutions, on 3D surface digitization techniques, 3D data processing, motion tracking, image processing and machine vision.Nicola D'Apuzzo received his Master's Degree in 1996 in mechanical engineering (Dipl. Masch.-Ing. ETH) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) in the field of robotics and biomedical engineering. He then worked as researcher at the Institute of Geodesy and Photogrammetry of ETH Zurich and he received his Ph.D. degree (Dr. sc. techn.) in 2003 in the field of 4D human body and face scanning.Parallel to the technical qualifications, Nicola D'Apuzzo has also 12 years of experience in running andmanaging an art gallery, co-curating exhibitions and assisting in the realization of special art installations.He speaks and writes fluently in English, Italian, German, French and has good Spanish knowledge.
