I graduated in theoretical physics at Sapienza University of Rome. The topics engaged me the most are econophysics, stochastic processes, disordered systems and agent-based models. In my thesis, I explored various phenomena related to complexity in financial markets. Subsequently, I worked as a data analyst applying complex systems methodologies in the economic and fiscal fields. Over the years, I developed expertise in data science and big data engineering, dealing with ETL processes, big data analytics management, software component customization, REST API integration, computational simulations, business intelligence implementation, development of dashboards and data visualization apps, machine learning (XGBoost, Random Forest), deep learning (Recurrent Neural Network, LSTM), application of statistical methods for text mining (Text Clustering, Topic Modeling) and relational data analysis (Multilayer Networks), ontology creation, and open data (SPARQL, RDF). The programming languages I use the most are R and Python, while the tools include Qlik, PowerBI, Spark and Solr.
