I am a freelance IT consultant with a degree in computer science, over a decade of experience on the Salesforce.com platform in particular but usually work across a full technology stack. Key Highlights: Community Cloud, Lightning Components (Aura), Microservice IntegrationI worked as a full stack developer, in an agile team that delivered the internal Salesforce application and VetOne customer portal for vets, managing pet plans. As part of this I primarily worked with apex controllers/classes and Aura lightning components on the Salesforce platform and Salesforce Community Cloud. However I also interacted with external databases and APIs.. using source control and a complex / sophisticated CI/CD pipeline. Some of this role also included supporting BAU, and ensuring Salesforce releases were tested and upgraded smoothly.

Key highlights: ISV package development, Tooling APIs, AngularI worked as a full stack developer for Sage People (formerly Fairsail Ltd) an ISV, working in one of the scrum teams developing the HRIS Suite. Sage People offers a comprehensive suite of HR tools for performance management, time management, analytics, recruitment and payroll. The work I did largely involved development in but not limited to AngularJS(2) and the Salesforce.com platform (managed packages).

- 2yr Graduate programme- Delivery of a web app and salesfore.com prototype utilising consumer wearable tech and medical devices to illustrate the potential opportunities to the company around wearable technology, in which I worked with our Salesforce and Heroku partners, utilised the Heroku platform with wearables API libraries including Qualcomm and presented this to C level. - Business Intelligence projects analysing and consolidating business reporting tools working with Gartner etc.- SDL & ITIL processes, procurement- Delivered 33+ Corporate Affairs websites via new CMS and retired the old CMS. Working closely with the TCS/vendors and CMS vendors to deliver continuous improvement. Delivered CMS training programme (remotely) to over 20 affiliate countries.

UoK is well known for the placement year, and their focus on Java. My degree was in computer science with a focus on OOP concepts.. However, I found most enjoyment in the functional programming, cryptography and embedded systems (electrical engineering) modules.

I worked in the tech team within the General IT function in the UK affiliate office as a placement student. I worked mainly on finance projects, and some manufacturing projects, including an Expense Reporting project as part of a larger reorganisation. My role was to implement 25+ interfaces for over 35 affiliates over 6 continents as part of the role out of a global expense reporting solution. Working with and managing external vendors such as IBM and over 10 different banks. Developing business processes, and standards for the interfaces and file formats throughout was a main goal and challenge of the project. I also became an subject matter expert in the content management solutions space within my team and travelled to train colleagues at different affiliates across Europe.
