Built Spontex brand awareness via PR, TV advertising and GMTV sponsorship. Developed and project managed a road show, utilising strong project skills and focusing on key lines in addition to driving an extensive PR program. This ultimately ensured a highly successful road show. Developed extensions to the Spontex range and led / managed international project teams within the Mapa group. Utilised strong leadership skills, expert co-ordination and negotiation / persuasion skills, which ensured the successful launch of products, increased market share and injected life into the category.Created impact with promotions to drive awareness and sales with key accounts. Excited category via an instant win promotion linked to the GMTV sponsorship, which created substantial interest and resulted in a strong profit related promotion. Managed ‘Private Label Household Cleaning’ range and Junior Product Manager. Utilised category management techniques and strong management skills to adjust branded / private label mix. Developed Junior Product Manager to lead and oversee the range successfully.

Championed ‘Off License’ launch for the ‘Sidekick’ schnapps shot brand using project management skills. Developed packaging, promotional / launch support material accompanied by a PR plan and assisted with the development of TV advertising. This resulted in a successful launch, strong brand and excellent revenue figures.Commissioned brand essence studies on Woodpecker and White Lightning via creative market research / workshops. Analysed feedback, which resulted in the development of future strategy and drove both brands forward in terms of NPD, packaging development, advertising and promotional activity. Developed and implemented trade plans and worked closely with trading teams. Liaised continuously and held regular structured meetings to monitor progress. This ensured plans adhered to initial proposed strategy and launched on time and to budget. Managed advertising and promotional budget. Negotiated with suppliers and liaised extensively regarding promotional content and release dates. This ensured budgets were not exceeded and paperwork was organised and submitted within set time scales.

Finalising and implementing the summer promotional plans for the mainstream cider brands; Strongbow and Two Dogs. Driving exciting, high profile new product launches for the summer season – Alcoholic Liquid, Roid and Strongbow Extra Dry.

Assigned to a 3-month project to review the current range of children's hair products, recommending and implementing a future strategy for the ranges.The above included launching the spring / summer fashion range of current children's hair accessories.
