I’m Nicky, an architect of business and cultural transformation. By starting with understanding, and working with love, compassion and collaboration, I believe we can create a better, more connected world. As executive director of business change at Futures Housing Group, I investigate problems, create improvement programmes and design structures, systems and cultures where people can be their best. I am highly reflective and enjoy puzzling through to a clear path for change, that brings different people, plans and perspectives together. I have more than 20+ years’ experience in business improvement and development, but my approach to any project is to start with listening, curiosity, and an open mind. This is about creating space for conversation and collaboration, to bring partnerships and new ways of working into being. Outside of work, I love to learn and regularly immerse myself in new ideas and practices I can use to develop myself or others. I am a qualified coach, NLP practitioner and have a MBA and a Masters in adult education. I am also currently training in a way of illuminating personal, professional and organisational issues, known as systemic constellations. Through all my learning, I am always looking to master how to help people to become more whole, connected beings. My vision is to see love play a greater role at work. I believe this is the answer to connecting people with each other, and to a common purpose. And that, in turn, brings people fulfilment and the sense of belonging so they can thrive.
