I teach 3rd and 5th grade science with an emphasis on lab and cross cutting concepts as pertaining to the NGSS

As Site Coordinator I send out the weekly schedule to tutors, oversee the weekly tutoring sessions (2 days per week), and supervise new tutor orientations. I also test all students in the program. In addition, I devise new educational games and train the tutors so they can use them with the students.

I tutor 6th grade students one on one to help bring them up to grade level math. I include an element of fun in the tutor session so the children can see math in a different and positive light.
