PhD in Landscapes of the Contemporary City.Research on the issues of energy efficiency in buildings and redevelopment in urban areas.The research aims to investigate the ways in which a school can transform itself into a central question of the territory on which it stands. Starting from its technological-energy redevelopment, the building is a privileged actor of the fabric as it becomes a piece of quality. The study develops on three scores: an analytical investigation that focuses its attention on the objectives to be pursued for the reduction of the environmental impact of the building and its use; an interpretative path that connects technology and the social sphere through the vision of the school as an elective place in the area; a methodological approach that wants to directly involve students as citizens, not future but contemporary. These three areas, in the light of the conclusions deduced, cannot exist separately, and make a limit (a separation) between the technological architectural discipline and the social sciences even more indefinite.
