I am a partner in the commercial property team at Jacksons Law Firm and Head of the Agricultural and Rural Affairs team. I specialise in agricultural sales, purchases and tenancy matters, with a particular interest in succession tenancies. I advise farmers, investors and landed estate owners. I also specialise in commercial property and have a wide range of clients from those with only one small property to those with a nationwide portfolio. I deal with commercial sales and purchases, commercial leases for both landlord and tenant clients, deeds of grant, option agreements, commercial mortgages and a variety of other property related matters. I was President of the Tees Valley Law Society for 2010-2011. I was a member of its Council for 20 years, as well as sitting its Education & Training Committee for many years. From 2011 to 2022 I acted as honorary Dinner Secretary to the Society.
