Head of first line of defence conformance testing team. Responsible for developing and executing an annual plan of testing to provide assurance over key risks and controls globally to agree appropriate actions to close any issues. I actively recruited to fill the headcount of 16 and developed the skills of new joiners through induction training and close supervision and feedback.

Joined as Audit Senior and was promoted in 2010 to Vice President, auditing the Wealth and Investment Management business. I have made use of my language skills by leading audits in France and Spain and have joined the European Retail Bank team for an investment sales audit. I have also led audits of Absa Private Bank and Absa Asset Management and was involved in the Lehman At Close audit, Finance and Change audits.I have been part of the Barclays Quality Assurance team for the past year, leading reviews of the audit universe, audit plan, completed audits, issues validation, data privacy, Subsidiary Audit Committee reports and legal entities.I led a the audit team in the first governance audit of the Board, which covered Board Committees structure, terms of reference, meeting information packs, meeting minutes and conflicts of interest.
